The Current State of Affairs: Gladiators and Iroh Oldson

Should the players in my current campaign (which I call Rising Empires) survive to the end of Castle Serastis (The Fortress of the Yuan-Ti adventure), they face a truly exciting prospect, at least to them.
They get a chance to be gladiators.
Unfortunately, half of them are mages. Which means, they likely won't want to be fighting in any gladiator duels. (Instead I get to run a mage duel for the first time ever)
Regardless, the Gladiators have been statted up, and when they arrive they'll have the chance to duel some of these magnificent heroes, anti-heroes, and outright villains.
I'll be posting one gladiator a day until I've posted all the ones that don't contain spoilers.
Once they've been to the arena, I'll post the remaining gladiators.
Feel free to use these NPCs as you will. Some of them bend the rules more than others, some do so less. All of them are fun and interesting (Or I've done my best to make them that way). Their backstories can, of course, be changed.

Design Notes:
All of these guys are designed with quite a hefty point buy (I believe it was 30 or 34, what I gave to the players). At 4th and 8th level they each got to add one point to any two ability scores. They also have wealth by level as if they were a PC. This is to make them a viable challenge (the players will be fighting one fight a day), and because the players won't be keeping the items of those they beat (thereby not ruining wealth by level for the campaign).

Backstory:

Iroh Oldson is the heir to the tradition of the Shadow Spire clan, a clan of ninjas from the East who toiled ceaselessly to rebuild their failing clan. Eventually they were overrun by undead monstrosities from the Spire that they took their name from, Iroh being the only one to escape.
Iroh's parents had taken him to visit another clan when they were ambushed on the road. The goblins who fell upon them killed his parents, and would have killed him too, were an orc merchant not happening by. Seeing the slaughter, he drove off the goblins, and adopted the tiny dwarf baby.
He raised Iroh for ten years, long enough for Iroh to be a young kid. Then Iroh lost his second family, this time to adventurers who refused to believe that an orc could be a good person. They "rescued" Iroh, and took him with them. He grew angry and bitter, and slit their throats, then fled.
Eventually he was taken in by the ninja clan who trained him well. But, he was fated to lose this third family as well.
Now he roams the world, angry, bitter, and feeling cheated by fate. He takes on odd jobs, and is currently fighting as a gladiator because Ven Rhexis, the arena's master, promises that he can bring the old ninja a measure of peace.
